“It’s not important how clever individuals are. What really matters is how smart the collective brain is.” – Matt Ridley
As a child I was bottle fed with entrepreneurial spirit. Raised to explore and question the world surrounding me. I was intrigued by big ideas, and genuinely enjoyed challenging the world view of society – only to defy my own.
As a result of my curious and critical mind, I often find myself in debates, hoping to explore new ideas. In the past years I have found this daring characteristic to be one of my best qualities.
Author Matt Ridley says, “It’s not important how clever individuals are. What really matters is how smart the collective brain is.” A statement I applaud, and which my leadership is founded upon.
I believe in flat organizations and knowledge sharing. And that this form of management will generate and create innovation on else unseen levels.
It is my task is to drive new projects and explore new and unexpected directions for business development.
The popularized phrase “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” is profanity to my ears. Therefore I endeavor to contribute to a world where innovation is welcomed. As an intrapreneur it is my task to drive new projects and explore new and unexpected directions for business development.
Gifford Pinchot III created the word intrapreneur in 1978, and defined the word as “dreamers who do.” I was born a dreamer, but not an activist. However, through time and initiative I have become so.
